Margery Silverton, LCSW-C, has been practicing psychotherapy since receiving her Master's Degree from Catholic University in 1975. She has a special expertise in couples and relationship therapy, and also has an extensive background in individual psychotherapy.Margery was the first therapist in the Washington Metropolitan area to be certified as an Imago Relationship Therapist through the Institute for Relationship Therapy, and currently has standing as an advanced clinician within the Imago network. Additional postgraduate training includes certifications in Family Therapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, EMDR, and Thought Field Therapy.
Margery combines her warmth, humor, and compassion with her many years of training to provide a healing environment in which her patients can feel both safe and challenged to reach their full potential.
